Dear Watchers,
thank you all for sticking with me.
In case you are wondering: yes, I am still drawing every single day, but during the last weeks I spent most of that time studying.
1. I constructed:
-I learned the 1, 2 and 3 point perspective
- how to construct objects such like towers and vases without reference
- how to construct the shadows when lght is coming from different angles
2. I studied proportions
- the greek proportions of the human body
- the greek proportions for faces
- fashion proportions
- how characters look if I tweek the classical proportions and golden ratios (such as eye width, mouth height and so on)
3. I studied anatomy
- mainly the eye and nose
I still have a long way to go. But this is why I haven´t been uploading any pieces - they are all just pencil studies.
At the end of february I will still submit the summary of art where you can see what I did
So cheerio and hugz,

Finished Inktober
A tiny bit late due to work and travel, but nevertheless finally finished!
The overall schedule of my life did not leave me room to work properly. I hardly took time to sketch, I never referenced and no piece took longer than an hour.
Hence, I feel there is not a single piece I am entirely happy with, but I am content I made it through and can at least see some good in most pieces :-)
My Abscence (again)
Hello everyone, I wonder if there are still old friends here?
I have been abscent for a long time - since March I think. I am just insanely busy with work and family and I had to pause on the whole illustration passion.
But now it is Inktober and I have decided, to at least join it. I am writing a childrens story with very short chapters and do 10-minute illustrations for each chapter.
I might upload them, if I am not ashamed - there is no planning, barely any pencil sketching and just rough, quick inkwork...
However, the rules of inktober require me to upload - what do you think?

Thank you and Swamped
My dear friends and watchers,
I want to thank you all for your kindness and support. I had many crises of confidence in the last months and almost never got the result I wished for. Many of you left amazingly detailed and insightful comments, send me notes, or responded to my post in the forum. I want to express my heart felt gratitude about that, since after every comment, I wanted to pick up my pencil again
Also, I want to say I am sorry, that I cannot thank you for all the faves... my life is so very busy. I work an average of 60-70 hours a week and spend almost every free minute with my kids. So when I drawn or paint, I don´t ha
Inktober During Travels
Hi everyone,
I will be travelling from 22th-29th for work. While I will try my best to keep up with inktober, the quality of the artwrorks as well as the quality of the photos of it won´t keep up with my usual standards.
I hope you guys don´t mind.
Hugz
